Construction Site Manager - Rail Infrastructure

I'm working with a client in Munich who is actively involved in modernising railway infrastructure across Germany. They're currently looking for a Site Manager with a background in civil engineering or construction technology to oversee on-site operations and ensure the smooth delivery of key transport projects.


This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of permanent employment, ideal for professionals looking to make a lasting impact in the rail sector while exploring long-term career opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, especially the client's site supervision
  • Lead the technical execution of assigned construction measures
  • Ensure compliance with planning documents and legal regulations (VOB, VV-Bau, VV-Bau STE)
  • Manage and verify subcontractor measurements and change order proposals
  • Provide leadership to on-site teams and ensure optimal working conditions
  • Collaborate with planners, clients, and authorities throughout project phases
  • Maintain accurate work time records and enforce occupational safety standards
  • Implement performance, schedule, and quality reporting systems
  • Proactively manage cost estimation and accounting
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors on-site


Your Profile:

  • Several years of experience in construction supervision or site management
  • Degree in civil engineering or equivalent technical qualification
  • Independent and structured working style
  • Class B driving licence
  • Willingness to travel regularly (company vehicle provided for business and private use)
