I am looking for a Contract Commissioning Engineer on behalf of a longstanding client of mine based in Plymouth. The successful applicant will be joining a large-scale MoD project to carry out testing, inspections and diagnostics on Warship Marine Systems.

This role will predominantly involve the inspection and testing of warship systems and equipment which will mainly be on RN Warships with occasional inspection and test of Landing Craft.

Essentials:

• Currently hold SC clearance or be eligible.

• Knowledge of Type 23 & 45/LPD's and Future Platforms.
• Understanding of inspection and testing methods and test form processes.
• Experience with writing Test Documentation.

Desirables:

• Experience of commissioning processes
