Control Systems Engineer - Site Intallations

iO are currently working with an SME business who provide essential systems installation and upgrade work to the FMCG sector in their search for a Control Systems Engineer to co-ordinate installations and commissioning projects.

Based in Cambridge, you will be working with a team of highly talented developers, and with a reliable and established customer base, this is an opportunity to lead the co-ordination of PLC / SCADA based control systems and their successful integration at customer site.

What will be required is a strong background in PLC / SCADA Control Systems as well as organizational responsibilities and leadership capability. As this role will be working at customer site, you will be required to travel UK wide. There will also be occasions where you will need to interrogate customer breakdowns and modify software where necessary.
If you would like to be considered for this role, you will need demonstrable experience in the following fields:

• PLC / SCADA Interrogation and modifications
• Installation & Commissioning Experience
• Experience in Food manufacturing would be useful, but any experience across weighing or handling machines would also be useful.

Salary on offer is between £32,000 & £38,000 depending on experience with a company car and bonus scheme also available.
