Controls Engineer

I'm working with one of Germany's leading Autonomous Vehicle Start-Up OEMs, having rapidly grown to ~100 Engineers, and recently invested in a brand-new manufacturing and R&D facility.

You'll join as a Controls Engineer, responsible for leading the full Systems Integration and Controls across the Vehicle Chassis.

Controls Engineer Responsibility

• Lead the development and integration of advanced control algorithms/systems across the Vehicle Chassis (including Electronics, Braking, Steering, and more)
• Cross-Functional Team collaboration for Integration and Testing inc. (Software, Hardware, and E/E Engineers)
• Knowledge of Safety & Automotive Standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, Func. Safety, and Cybersecurity)
• Future Leadership Opportunities to Train and Mentor Junior Engineers, and ultimately own the Controls Engineering division

Controls Engineer Requirements

• Controls System design and tool knowledge including MATLAB, Simulink, dSPACE, etc.
• and
• Previous exposure to, Braking Systems or Steering Systems (ABS, Steer By Wire, Brake by Wire) and other Traction Functions is desired
• European Citizen OR German Right To Work (Citizen, PR, Blue Card)
