You are a skilled Data Engineer eager to make an impact in an exciting new business building innovative data systems and placing an emphasis on sustainability. If this sounds like you - carry on reading!

We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to join our client's growing team and help modernize and automate our data platform as we scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain data pipelines using industry-standard tools.
• Contribute to cloud infrastructure development, improvements and maintenance.
• Create automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline data processes.
• Resolve data issues, ensure data quality and consistency.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in building robust ETL pipelines and managing data infrastructure.
• Strong technical skills in SQL (ideally Postgres), Python (including pandas), and experience with cloud data tools.
• Knowledge of AWS, Airflow, dbt, Terraform, Git, and GitHub Actions.

Desired Experience:

• Experience in improving data quality, data cleaning, and automating data processing tasks.

Benefits:

• Salary: £47,000-55,000 per year
• Location: The role is based in Oxford with flexible home-working arrangements.
