iO Associates have partnered with a world leading FMCG business in Weybridge, who are looking for a Demand Controller to join the team. My client has an award winning portfolio of products and they employ over 1400 people worldwide, they constantly striving the stay ahead of the competition, while maintaining focus on important issues such as sustainability and work life balance.

Now due an internal promotion they are looking for a Demand Controller to support the S&OP team. In this role you will be responsible for the management, implementation & improvement of the UK & EMEA both Long (strategic) and Short Term (tactical) SO&P process.


You will be evaluating & improving Demand Control performance, providing analytical recommendations, as well as insight and outcomes in order to enhance the availability performance. You will also be accountable for analysing and reporting demand and / or supply fluctuations, implementing proactive action plans and identifying risks to availability within product lead times and working with supply teams to mitigate any impact to the customers.

Every day can be different, so they are really looking for someone with a lot of energy and willingness to get stuck into any task. Your role will be critical in building relationships between the Commercial business unit and Supply team, driving a customer first ethos at all times. You will also work closely with marketing operations on the Demand Control aspects for all NPD launches, On-Pack Activation and packaging redesigns, as well as product exit strategies.


To be successful in this role you will be an excellent communicator who demonstrates the ability to interpret and present complex data. You will be able to display strong relationship management skills and agile and lean leadership.
Ideally you will have 5+ years in a supply chain or operations role , preferably with end to end supply chain experience.
