Position: Design Engineer

Opportunity for a Design Engineer to join a product development team at a leading manufacturer and supplier of pump systems and fluid technology solutions, based in Gloucestershire.

As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of new products and the optimisation of their existing product range, supporting the products full life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new products and improve existing designs using Solidworks.
• Create and maintain accurate 2D drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Manage projects through their design life cycle and ensure safety compliance.
• Perform FEA and generate reports, plus create product renders for marketing.

About You:

• Minimum three years' experience in mechanical design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently.

Looking to pay up to £40,000 for the position with a performance based bonus, the role is being offered on a hybrid basis with flexible working and career development opportunities.
