Be part of a dynamic team leading the development and detailed design of propulsion components, which involves designing metallic/composite parts and developing mechanical systems. This is crucial in turning innovative aircraft designs into tangible products.

Design Engineer - Propulsion Systems
Contract Duration: 9 months with potential for extension
Location: Munich, Germany
Salary: Upto €45/Hr (Approx. €93000/Yr)

Due to the nature of this contract role, my client can only consider candidates with EU citizenship or candidates with valid German Work Permit.

Skills Required:

  • University degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (MSc/M.Eng preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years in the aerospace industry.
  • Expertise in propulsion systems and rotating machinery design.
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX and familiarity with Teamcenter.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO GPS or ASME GD&T.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial.


  • Design aerospace parts and assemblies, optimizing for lifecycle.
  • Create 3D parts/assemblies in Siemens NX and produce 2D technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with various engineering teams.
  • Manage design data in Teamcenter.
  • Engage in continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
