Our client, a leading technology organisation is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their growing team. This is a hands-on engineering role, offering the opportunity to work across a wide range of modern cloud, automation, and DevOps technologies in a secure environment.
You'll play a critical role in building and maintaining infrastructure, automating deployments, and supporting application delivery. With exposure to AWS (and other cloud platforms), containerisation, and CI/CD tooling, this position is ideal for an engineer who thrives on solving complex problems through automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and maintain cloud environments (AWS / Azure / other providers).
- Administer Red Hat and Windows operating systems.
- Design and support containerised solutions (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.).
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bamboo).
- Troubleshoot and support applications across multiple environments.
- Script and automate tasks using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
Requirements
- Eligible for SC clearance.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Scripting/programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Red Hat OS administration.
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent).
- Windows & Red Hat system administration.
- Containerisation technologies.
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
- Configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, etc.).
- CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bamboo).
- Infrastructure and application automation.
This is a hands-on role with a technical test forming part of the interview process.
