iO Associates have partnered with an global aerospace and defence technology innovator in the search for a Manufacturing Technician to join their team in Farnborough.
The company provides advanced defence and commercial technologies across space, air, land, sea and cyber domains, with around $18 billion in annual revenue and 50,000 employees, with customers in more than 100 countries.
The Farnborough site specialising in secure ground and airborne communication and network systems for the US military, international forces and commercial customers.
They are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join their Operations Department. The role will require the ability to troubleshoot to component level using Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), circuit diagrams and debug software.
You will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for Fault Finding to component level on both RF modules and complex CCA's, performing assembly/test of highly complex assemblies used in military communications, conduct Special To Type Equipment (STTE) acceptance and/or qualification and/or type tests.
The role will involve some design/development and improvements to existing processes and procedures for new products working to tight timescales.
To be successful in this role you will need:
Broad knowledge of component level troubleshooting
UK national, Eligible for Security Clearance
Experience with RF components desirable
In return you will receive a salary of £40,000 along with benefits that include:
