Job Title: Technical Team Leader

iO Associates are working with a global manufacturing leader to recruit a Technical Team Leader. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a leadership role, ensuring optimal production technology and maintenance techniques while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
About the Role:
As a Technical Team Leader, you will take charge of investigating and resolving production losses, including breakdowns, waste, and speed issues, using structured problem-solving techniques. A critical aspect of the role is developing and implementing robust maintenance standards and processes for designated product lines, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
You will also focus on coaching and building the technical team's maintenance skills, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. In addition, you will support improvement projects and validations aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and overall production performance.
Another key responsibility is planning and executing preventative maintenance activities, ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery. You'll be required to maintain critical equipment settings and accurately record maintenance details in SAP while promptly addressing any abnormalities to minimize losses.
What We're Looking For:
- Educational Background: HNC or Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 5 years in a technical or manufacturing role, with expertise in high-speed automated assembly and packaging equipment.
- Proven experience leading a technical team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with quality systems and manufacturing safety practices.
- Some PLC experience is preferred but not essential.
- Personal Attributes:
- Independent thinker with the ability to act quickly under pressure.
- Team player with excellent coaching and communication skills.
- Proactive and confident in driving technical improvements.
