Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Manager / Technical Project Manager
📍 Southern Germany | Hybrid | Defence & Engineering Sector
Are you passionate about shaping the future of defence logistics? A leading European defence systems provider is seeking an experienced ILS Manager to join their growing team.
This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge land systems including armoured vehicles, artillery platforms, and military support solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Define and develop integrated logistics and technical support concepts for complex defence systems.
- Prepare service proposals, technical specifications, and support contract negotiations.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams (logistics analysis, documentation, tooling, spare parts).
- Liaise with public sector clients and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee performance metrics (cost, schedule, deliverables) and manage project data in SAP and internal systems.
- Evaluate and resolve technical issues in collaboration with engineering and procurement teams.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Background in the armed forces (e.g. Bundeswehr officer or technical NCO) is highly valued.
- Strong experience in ILS, TLB, or related areas such as LSA, IETD, or Configuration Management.
- Business fluent (B2+) level in German and proficient in English.
- Experience working with public sector clients and managing subcontractors.
- Willingness to travel and engage in on-site coordination when needed.
