Java Developer

We invite applications from highly motivated Full Stack Software Developers to join our dynamic team in picturesque Lucerne.

As the Full Stack Java Developer, you will have demonstrable experience in the follow stack:

Stack: Java, SpringBoot, Angular, Rest

Duration: 8-9 Months - Extensions likely

Start Date: August

Location: Lucerne - two days per week.

Language: German Speaking

Responsibilities:

• Further Development of Existing Applications: Effectively leverage your expertise to refine and enhance both the front-end and back-end components of our existing software applications.
• Integration and Interface Development: Design and implement seamless integrations and interfaces between disparate applications to facilitate efficient data flow.
• Technological Innovation: Embrace the latest advancements in software development and strategically incorporate these technologies into our systems.
• Agile Methodology Enthusiast: Utilize your knowledge of agile project management methodologies, such as SCRUM and SAFe, to foster a collaborative environment and ensure project success.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers within a cross-functional team structure.
• Full Project Lifecycle Engagement: Actively participate in all stages of the project lifecycle, encompassing initial requirements gathering, meticulous analysis and design phases, and ultimately culminating in successful delivery

Qualifications:

• Strong Customer Focus: Demonstrate a demonstrably strong customer orientation and an unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet all client needs.
• Agile Development Expertise: Offer proficiency and experience in applying agile software development methodologies such as SCRUM and SAFe.
• Full-Stack Development Mastery: Possess in-depth experience in both front-end development utilizing the Angular framework and back-end development within the Spring Boot environment.
• API Savvy: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of REST services, encompassing their definition (Swagger/OpenAPI) and connection protocols.
• Code Quality Advocate: Prioritize the production of high-quality code and advocate for extensive test coverage through tools like Cypress or Playwright.
• Containerization Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding and appreciation for container-based application deployment methodologies, such as OpenShift.
• Streaming Environment Advantage: Knowledge of Kafka/streaming environments is an additional benefit.
• Fluent German Communication: Communicate flawlessly in written and spoken German.
