My client is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer/Data Handling Subsystem Lead to join their team based in Bremen.

As the Data Handling Subsystem Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and development of the data handling subsystem for satellites. Your responsibilities will include defining system requirements, overseeing design activities, and ensuring technical quality while adhering to project schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design of the data handling subsystem for satellites
- Define and develop the data handling subsystem, including initial sizing, trade-offs, and hardware performances
- Take technical responsibility for the satellite DHS integrity and system-level activities
- Coordinate the verification strategy, analysis, and test cases for the DHS
- Collaborate with the Avionics Lead and support system-level design reviews
- Act as the focal point for customers regarding Satellite electrical systems
- Ensure timely delivery of the data handling subsystem within budget

Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering or related field
- Over 3 years of experience as an electronic systems engineer in satellite computers, bus communication, and FDIR concepts
- Experience with hardware projects in avionics systems
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead engineering teams
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Fluency in English; German language skills are desired
