If you're an experienced Logistics Specialist looking a contract opportunity in the glorious Spanish sunshine, you've come to the right place! Below, is an incredible opportunity to work with a leading aerospace innovator specialising in the provision of urban air mobilitiy.

Reporting directly to the Head of Logistics and working closely together with various interfaces and departments e.g. Engineering and Procurement. This role offers the opportunity to work across various functions and gain valuable insight across the whole company.
You will be part of a team that includes Logistics Operators as well as Logistics Specialists and support the goal to supply the future of air traffic by providing a reliable, innovative and customer-oriented Logistics service along the supply chain.
The Logistics Specialist will define the inbound and material supply strategy and set up processes as well as equipment for the serial production. You will drive or support Logistics operations and continuous improvement projects when needed.
Additionally, this position comes with the opportunity to support the flight test campaign in Spain as material coordinator. This role also offers further activities and project responsibility beyond logistics and requires on-site support in Spain, potentially for a period up to 6 months and beyond.

Your day-to-day tasks could include:

  • Drive and support various projects to implement the future industrial Logistics setup with special focus on inbound and material supply, with the aim of a robust production
  • Benchmark state of the art technologies for intralogistics, test and implement equipment in line with the business needs and company strategy
  • Generate and initiate improvement activities to increase efficiency, transparency and communication and reduce cost and waste
  • Steer or support the daily operations by proper prioritisation according to the internal customer needs to ensure an on time and on quality delivery
  • Support the flight test campaign on site in Spain as Material Coordinator and interface to Logistics, Procurement and Production Planning and Control
  • Manage urgent operational request and perform practical problem solving to secure a smoothly running production line
  • Enable cross functional collaboration, establish strong relationships across the company to build a transparent, and overall acknowledged service function
  • Create driver models and key performance indicators to ensure a reliable capacity planning and performance management

Therefore, I am seeking applications from candidates that can demonstrate the following skills and expertise:

  • Professional education in logistics or higher qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in logistics in a production environment, preferably in automotive or aviation
  • Proven background in project management and industrial planning with focus on intralogistics
  • Profound knowledge in material flow planning and simulations
  • Ability to focus on pragmatic solutions in a start-up environment and drive operational excellence towards serial production ramp up
  • Fluent English language skills are essential, German language skills would be beneficial
