PFMEA Engineer

6-Month Contract

I am looking for a highly experienced PFMEA Engineer to lead the delivery and facilitation of PFMEA activities across cross-functional teams. You will work closely with global engineering leaders and local teams, ensuring robust quality, compliance, and process efficiency throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Lead PFMEA workshops and coach cross-functional teams to create and maintain robust FMEAs that meet AIAG/VDA standards.
Consolidate engineering team inputs to develop structured PFMEA documentation aligned with product and process requirements.
Create action plans and support documents (e.g. control plans, design rules, SOPs) to drive continuous improvement.
Work with global and local teams to align process quality with product design milestones and manufacturing goals.
Support integration of risk analysis outputs, manage PFMEA reviews, and maintain MIS dashboards and project documentation.

Experience & Skills Required

Strong knowledge of AIAG/VDA FMEA methodology and quality standards such as IATF 16949.
Skilled in tools such as APIS IQ and familiar with DFM/DFA/DFS, control plans, and process flows.
Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate across global, multidisciplinary engineering teams.
