iO Associates is looking for a Principal Systems Engineer to work with a company that oversees a portfolio of specialised skills, applying software, mechanical, and electronic technologies in difficult and crucial situations to meet customer objectives and create very distinctive solutions and products. They are looking for a Principal Systems Engineer who will be involved in making sure they build with manufacturing and cost considerations in mind, as well as the capabilities required to support their delivered goods and services throughout the duration of their useful lives.

Required:

  • Extensive knowledge of systems engineering, the V-Model, and related processes and lifecycles.
  • Substantial expertise creating requirements of the highest calibre and creating a completely compliant systems architecture.
  • Knowledge of SysML, Enterprise Architect, UML, DOORS, and SEBoK.
  • Practical development experience in software, firmware, or hardware, especially in an embedded context.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a senior member of the Systems discipline and oversees SE for all work packages allocated to the Systems discipline. Delivers commitments and duties on schedule and within budget.
  • To guarantee consistency, design for modularity and reusability, and technical excellence, collaborate closely with the architects of the system, hardware, firmware, and software.
  • Make careful to check and evaluate technical proposals, and give precise estimates of the time, money, and risks involved for bids and proposals that result in contract awards.
