Principal systems engineer (Power)

We are seeking a skilled Power Management Systems Engineer for a challenging role that spans from staff to principal level. Join a pioneering team focused on advancing power management technologies with a versatile and original approach.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Power Management, showcasing expertise in Control Architectures, Transient Response, Power Train losses, efficiency optimisation, and PCB layout best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer innovative Power Management solutions, including custom control algorithms and architectures.
• Refine development processes for Power Converters validation and optimise hardware/software interactions.
• Contribute to defining specifications for cutting-edge ICs.
• Provide support for customer tools and documentation development.
• Offer technical documentation and business development support.
• Drive performance optimisation and deliver outstanding customer support.

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Power Electronics
• An understanding of diverse power converter control architectures, from Voltage Mode to Peak Current Mode and Constant On Time.
• Proven expertise in system simulation and developing precise control algorithms.
• Proficient in hands-on lab work with strong debugging skills.

Additional Skills Considered a Plus:

• Digital Power techniques.
• Verilog / FPGA for algorithm development
• Experience handling multi-phase controllers.
