We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to uncover customer needs and collaborate with a diverse team to bring innovative solution concepts from ideation through validation and development. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the sales and marketing teams for a company specialising in the design, production, and promotion of test instrumentation and solutions for networks.

Required:

  • 5-10+ years of Product Management or related experience, supported by a technical degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent), with readiness for up to 25% international travel.
  • Strong expertise in target technologies and markets, including Ethernet/IP, synchronization (PTP, SyncE, SDH/SONET), 4G/5G networks, and datacoms infrastructure such as data center architectures and networking protocols.
  • Proven ability to conduct effective user discovery sessions, build professional networks, and gather actionable market insights from diverse data sources to guide product strategy.
  • Additional experience with monitoring or measurement systems, open/disaggregated network architectures, and hands-on knowledge of network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, servers) is highly advantageous.
  • Previous engagement in the communications test and measurement industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Align product development with strategic objectives, leveraging the company's technical expertise to deliver impactful, value-driven solutions.
  • Identify and prioritize user needs through research and collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering, ensuring focus on high-value projects.
  • Define and manage product scope, balancing time-to-market, cost, feature richness, and quality to meet customer expectations.
  • Communicate product value internally and externally through documentation, training, presentations, and data-driven insights such as forecasting, market analysis, and performance metrics.
