iO Associates have partnered with an Irish Software Consultancy for their search for a Programme Manager to join them ASAP on a 12-month contract.

You will be responsible for the execution of multiple Programme workstreams. Working within budget, schedule and scope constraints while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.

Duration - 12 Months

Location - Fully Remote

Day Rate - €468-€527 (equivalent to £425-£450) per day Outside IR35

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an overall programme plan inclusive of mini projects and/or swim lanes covering:
    • Financial Services regulatory approval and funding,
    • Technology development
    • Setting up Business Operating Models for clients.
  • Assessing and resolving any potential issues and planning management actions where appropriate in relation to milestones.
  • Identifying, consolidating, and actively managing any dependencies.
  • Managing the programme's budget and adapting it according to any changing requirements.
  • Reporting the progress of the programme.
  • Allocating skills and resources to different segments of the overall programme.
  • Collaborating with the business readiness manager to prepare for the business transition.
  • Managing and overseeing any third-party contributions to the programme.
  • Liaising with stakeholders where relevant and managing the connections between projects

Essential Requirements:

  • 6+ years of Programme/ Senior Project Management experience.
  • Experience managing large cross-functional teams (quality, software, testing, hardware).
  • Software experience within a regulated environment (medical devices, finance, insurance, and e-commerce industries) is essential.
  • Offsite team management experience across different geographical locations is a plus.
  • Ability to train and coach others from technical expertise.
  • Project Management Qualifications.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Experience managing multiple projects is essential.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Detail oriented.
  • Not afraid to challenge the norm.
  • Experience managing large resource pools, budgets and overall project or program-level responsibilities.

*As this is an Irish company, you will be paid in Euros for this assignment.
