Position: Project Management Business Partner

Pay rate: £37.04 p/h inside IR35.

location: Broughton, UK

Role Type: 12 Month contract with extension

Position: Hybrid

IO Associates seeks a Project Management Business Partner for the Broughton site. Join a global aerospace leader specializing in commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors. This role offers a chance to contribute to innovative projects within a dynamic team shaping the future of aviation and space systems.

This position will have a direct reporting line to either the Head of the VSM workstream, the pertinent Project team, or the Head of the PM Office. You'll provide support to the SA Wing VSM team (OSW) at the stream level across all facets of professional project management, aiming to meet time, cost, and performance goals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure strong project management expertise supports VSM projects, applying appropriate structures, governance, and practices.
  • Collaborate with VSM project leaders daily, promoting best practices and challenging where needed.
  • Tailor methods and tools to project needs while adhering to PM standards, fostering efficient communication and stakeholder management.
  • Advocate Agile methodologies, oversee end-to-end project plans, and monitor performance, proposing corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage Risk & Opportunity processes, collaborate with Finance for cost and progress comparisons, and generate reports with relevant KPIs for performance management.

Skills Required

  • Possess extensive Project Management experience covering a range of activities including risk management, budget management, scheduling, and contract management.
  • Place significant emphasis on stakeholder management, recognizing its critical importance.
  • Key attributes for this role include excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
