iO Associates have partnered with a leading engineering company is seeking a Senior EC&I Engineer to join their team developing cutting-edge environmental technologies used in high-tech manufacturing. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex systems that reduce greenhouse gas emissions in industries like semiconductors and electronics.

What You'll Do:

Lead the design and development of electrical controls and instrumentation systems from concept to commissioning.
Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to deliver compliant, cost-effective solutions.
Own safety and compliance testing, risk assessments, and technical documentation.
Influence engineering strategy and mentor junior team members.

What You'll Bring:

HND or Degree in Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation or Software Engineering.
5+ years in controls/software engineering, ideally in regulated industries.
Strong PLC & HMI programming skills (e.g., ladder logic, VB.net, Modbus).
Experience with compliance standards (LVD, EMC, SIL, SEMI) and risk assessment tools (HAZOP, FMEA).
