Job title: Senior Fire Assessor

iO are currently partnered with a Bristol based engineering consultancy. Currently on the lookout for a Senior Fire Assessor to join on a permanent basis.

You will lead the delivery of fire strategies, risk assessments and design stage consultancy services. Working with internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure support safety of critical national infrastructure (subs, power stations, explosive facilities)

What will you be doing?

Development of fire safety strategies, reports, and compliance documentation
Expertise in fire engineering analysis, including smoke and evacuation modelling, temperature spread calculations, and structural assessments
Ability to lead or contribute to design reviews, assessing fire safety risks and proposing practical solutions
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, working with clients, architects, and regulatory bodies
Proficiency with advanced computer modelling software for fire dynamics and simulations
