Role Summary:


Our Client is looking to hire a Senior Hardware Design Engineer R&D to join their team at the worksite location in Amerang. This role is crucial for the design and development of analog and digital hardware for high-precision voltage and current source ATE measurement applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in the simulation, optimization, and support of hardware solutions for manufacturing and customer environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop analog and digital hardware for voltage and current source ATE measurement applications.
  • Simulate and optimize hardware designs and concepts.
  • Bring-up and characterize lab prototypes.
  • Utilize basic software skills (Python, C/C++) for low-level hardware operation and automated measurements.
  • Lead frontend chip selection for next-generation DPS systems.
  • Collaborate on defining next-generation DPS ASICs for accuracy and usability.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mixed-signal design.
  • Proficiency in analog and high-speed digital electronic design and simulation.
  • Hands-on experience with schematic entry and hardware design tools.
  • Basic programming skills in Python and/or C/C++.
  • Fluent in English & German.
  • Self-motivated with a solution-driven mindset.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Industry background in testing environments.
  • Ability to coach others and promote innovation.
