Role Summary:
Our Client is looking to hire a Senior Hardware Design Engineer R&D to join their team at the worksite location in Amerang. This role is crucial for the design and development of analog and digital hardware for high-precision voltage and current source ATE measurement applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in the simulation, optimization, and support of hardware solutions for manufacturing and customer environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop analog and digital hardware for voltage and current source ATE measurement applications.
- Simulate and optimize hardware designs and concepts.
- Bring-up and characterize lab prototypes.
- Utilize basic software skills (Python, C/C++) for low-level hardware operation and automated measurements.
- Lead frontend chip selection for next-generation DPS systems.
- Collaborate on defining next-generation DPS ASICs for accuracy and usability.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mixed-signal design.
- Proficiency in analog and high-speed digital electronic design and simulation.
- Hands-on experience with schematic entry and hardware design tools.
- Basic programming skills in Python and/or C/C++.
- Fluent in English & German.
- Self-motivated with a solution-driven mindset.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Industry background in testing environments.
- Ability to coach others and promote innovation.
