Our client, a leader in the renewable energy industry, is currently seeking a skilled Site Manager with a background in electrical work to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage various on-site activities, ensuring the successful completion of renewable projects.

As a Site Manager for our Client, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities related to projects. From managing site workers and subcontractors to ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, this role plays a crucial part in the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all site activities including groundwork, installation, and commissioning of solar PV systems.
  • Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth operations.
  • Ensure all work meets technical drawings, manufacturer specifications, and industry regulations.
  • Drive site safety standards, conduct regular inspections, and enforce compliance with HSE protocols.
  • Monitor budgets, materials, and equipment to ensure projects stay on track and within cost.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and internal teams, providing clear progress updates and documentation.
  • Lead testing, performance verification, and client handover at project completion.

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the renewable energy or electrical industry
  • Strong understanding of solar panel installations, electrical connections, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients, engineers, and team members
  • Problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges and conflicts
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, environmental regulations, and budget management

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Certifications in project management or relevant electrical qualifications
  • Experience with commissioning solar projects and performance testing
  • Familiarity with software tools for project scheduling and management
