Our client, a leader in the renewable energy industry, is currently seeking a skilled Site Manager with a background in electrical work to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage various on-site activities, ensuring the successful completion of renewable projects.

As a Site Manager for our Client, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities related to projects. From managing site workers and subcontractors to ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, this role plays a crucial part in the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all site activities including groundwork, installation, and commissioning of solar PV systems.
Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth operations.
Ensure all work meets technical drawings, manufacturer specifications, and industry regulations.
Drive site safety standards, conduct regular inspections, and enforce compliance with HSE protocols.
Monitor budgets, materials, and equipment to ensure projects stay on track and within cost.
Collaborate with clients, engineers, and internal teams, providing clear progress updates and documentation.
Lead testing, performance verification, and client handover at project completion.

Required Skills:

Previous experience in a similar role within the renewable energy or electrical industry
Strong understanding of solar panel installations, electrical connections, and industry standards
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients, engineers, and team members
Problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges and conflicts
Knowledge of safety protocols, environmental regulations, and budget management

Desirable Skills & Experience:

Certifications in project management or relevant electrical qualifications
Experience with commissioning solar projects and performance testing
Familiarity with software tools for project scheduling and management
