Location: Germany | Remote/Hybrid Available
About Us:
We are a fast-growing MedTech startup based in Germany, dedicated to developing advanced software solutions for medical companies. Our mission is to enhance patient care through innovative, reliable technology-always built with strict compliance and safety at its core. As a small, dynamic team, we value collaboration, agility, and deep technical expertise in medical software development.
The Role:
We are looking for a Software Developer with hands-on experience in healthcare technology and a strong grasp of medical compliance. In this key role, you'll contribute directly to building secure, high-quality software that meets stringent medical regulatory standards and supports our clients across the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain compliant medical software in line with ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and MDR requirements.

  • Build and enhance FHIR/HL7-based interfaces and ensure seamless integration with clinical systems.

  • Collaborate closely with QA, regulatory teams, and external stakeholders to maintain full compliance.

  • Participate in technical audits, risk assessments, and the creation of comprehensive documentation.

  • Proactively contribute to secure coding practices, testing, and validation processes.

Your Profile:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, with at least 1-2 years focused on medical or regulated health software.

  • Must-have: Strong understanding of medical compliance standards (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, MDR) and proven experience working within these frameworks.

  • Solid coding skills in [e.g., C++, Java, Python] and experience in cloud environments and containerisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Practical experience with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7).

  • Familiarity with GDPR and secure data management best practices.

  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.

  • Language requirement: Minimum B2 level in German (essential) and fluent in English.

  • Comfortable working in a startup culture: flexible, hands-on, and collaborative.

What We Offer:

  • A meaningful role where your work directly supports medical companies and impacts patient care.

  • A collaborative, supportive environment within a passionate startup team.

  • Flexibility with remote or hybrid working arrangements.

  • Opportunities for professional growth and skill development.

How to Apply:
If you are excited to develop cutting-edge medical software in a compliance-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you.
