Software Engineer

Software Engineer (12-Month Contract) - Geneva

We're hiring several Software Engineers for our Financial client based in Geneva, Switzerland.

You will form part of the on-premise infrastructure teams. As part of this role, you'll collaborate with sysadmins to embrace DevOps and "infrastructure as code" IaC.

Your responsibilities will include designing, building, operating, and continuously improving hosting platforms. You'll perform on-call duties (1 in 4), develop internal APIs, and promote software development practices.

We require team players with strong communication skills in French & English and proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, Go, bash, PowerShell, or equivalent)

Requirements:

• Proficient in Python, Java or Go.
• Knowledge of architecture topics (integration, security, network, identity and access management)
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery, CICD
• Familiarity with infrastructure management tools (Puppet, Terraform, monitoring, observability, logging, storage, DR)
• Fluency in French and English
• Swiss residency and B-permit or better
