Software Test Engineer
Location Bremen
12 month contract (possible extension/conversion)

What You'll Be Doing:
- Define and implement test cases, scenarios, and plans for cutting-edge aerospace software systems.
- Develop and enhance test automation solutions using modern technologies.
- Execute and maintain both simulation-based and hardware-in-the-loop
- Conduct regression tests to ensure the ongoing reliability of critical systems.
- Analyze software issue reports and perform detailed bug verifications.
- Prepare thorough test reports and technical documentation.
- Present test results to multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Own the testing lifecycle within your development or systems team.
- Drive improvements in the internally developed test applications.
What You Bring:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong grasp of software testing and development methodologies.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and XML.
- Hands-on experience in an agile project environment.
- Ideally, an ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
- Knowledge of aerospace or aviation standards and processes.
- Fluency in German and English-both written and spoken.
- A passion for quality, a collaborative mindset, and an enthusiasm for high-impact work.
