Senior Solution Architect - Defence - £75,000-£95,000
(Hybrid - Weekly Travel to Corsham)

A specialist technical consultancy is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, large-scale, cloud-native solutions for Defence and national security clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and document technical requirements, architectures, and designs
Deliver end-to-end solutions across software, infrastructure, and networks
Provide expert consultancy on technology strategy and choices
Deploy systems in hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, private cloud)
Lead technical teams and manage stakeholder relationships
Own project deliverables through the full lifecycle

Requirements:

Proven experience with MOD or Defence cloud-native architectures
Strong background in IT modernisation and enterprise design
Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
Confident in both high-level planning and hands-on solution delivery
Active DV clearance required

Desirable:

Open-source tech in secure environments
Familiarity with MOD governance and DevSecOps practices
