Supplier Quality Engineer (Outside IR35, SC Cleared)

📍 Location: West Sussex (Onsite) | 🚀 Contract: 6 months (Possible extension, work moves to Coventry)
💰 Rate: Up to £30 per hour | Outside IR35 | SC Cleared Candidates Only

Our client, a leading defence engineering firm, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to drive supplier development and quality improvements within the military vehicle sector.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Conduct supplier audits and assess manufacturing processes.
✅ Ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 & AQAP standards.
✅ Lead Root Cause Analysis, Non-Conformance Management, and Corrective Actions.
✅ Collaborate with Engineering & Manufacturing teams to optimize supplier performance.

What You Need:

🔹 Proven supplier development experience in Defence or Automotive.
🔹 Strong knowledge of PFMEA, DFMEA, First Article Inspection Reports.
🔹 Ability to drive supplier quality improvements and resolve issues efficiently.
🔹 SC Clearance (Mandatory)
