  • Capture and validate stakeholder requirements and ensure traceability across the development lifecycle.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary teams and manage engineering deliverables aligned with project milestones.
  • Develop and maintain product specifications and verification strategies in collaboration with internal teams and external customers.
  • Oversee and support test planning, execution, and documentation in accordance with DO-160 and other relevant standards.
  • Drive compliance efforts with regulatory bodies (EASA/FAA), OEMs (Airbus, Boeing), and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality and functional compliance of subsystems and components.
  • Manage engineering changes (ECP/MCP), support NPI projects, and contribute to the overall design validation process.
  • Facilitate design risk assessments such as FMEA and support safety and reliability documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in aerospace systems engineering, ideally within cabin interiors or seating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft seat architecture, including motorized components, recline systems, and in-seat power/IFE.
  • Familiarity with certification standards such as DO-160, ARP4754A, TSO C127/C127a.
  • Hands-on experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion).
  • Solid understanding of system verification, validation, and traceability methodologies.
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English and French (both written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of lean principles and design for manufacturability is a plus.
  • Understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML is desirable.
