Technical Architect / Solution Architect : WebSphere Commerce Platform decommission
Outside IR35
Initial 4 month contract running for 1 year in total

iO Associates is proud to be partnering with a global Architecture Transformation consultancy to bring in a Technical/ Solution Architct for a brand new piece of work that will be kicking off in a matter of weeks.
The role will start out as 3 days per week on site in London, but will soon drop down to a more ad-hoc frequency based on the meetings and workshops going on that week.
As the Technical Architect for the WebSphere e-Commerce workstream, you will be responsible for providing the technical expertise in the IBM/ HCL WebSphere Commerce platform to deliver the decommissioning of the e-Commerce platform by:
- Input to and review Business Case
- Reshape into properly governed programme
- Define Support architectural review being conducted of work packages not currently in scope (Data migration, Customer profile, Security, Identity management)
- review Business strategy and requirements against functionality
- Perform market assessment and recommendation for the outstanding architectural areas
- Support Customer Profile ways of working
- Support programme delivery and de-risk
- Pilot new Architecture Ways of Working
You will be ideal for this role if:
- You have strong Architectural Consulting experience, from a Big4 other established Consultancy
- Have demonstrable experience in the Architcture of The IBM WebSphere / HCL WebSphere eCommerce platform
- Can demonstrate experience with the de-commissioning of such platforms
- Are comfortable working in a small-mid sized, but well connected team.
