Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Author with experience on military applications to support military jet crew operations. This strategic role has been created to enhance technical training, streamline documentation, and ensure the seamless integration of new capabilities within a complex aerospace environment. As a crucial part of our Client's team, you will shape the technical landscape for military jet operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and innovation are at the core of all activities. Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver technical training programmes to upskill personnel, regardless of their specific profiles.
  • Guide technical topics, including capability enhancements and new functionalities, adapting them for different media such as documentation and training modules.
  • Foster collaboration between the CCTI-MiL team and other organisational units, including design offices, to ensure standards are adhered to and definitions are accurately reflected in operational products.
  • Manage configuration control processes for key technical definitions and products intended for Rafale crews.
  • Lead the requirements gathering and validation process for safety-critical developments, ensuring compliance with certification standards.
  • Drive the development of the product roadmap, focusing on content quality and usability for crew training and operation.
  • Oversee and enhance the department's Quality assurance activities, including:
  • Monitoring project progress and early identification of complex issues.
  • Reviewing and validating technical documents through sampling procedures.
  • Conducting root cause analysis of anomalies and implementing corrective actions, especially relating to tools, business rules, and team capabilities.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' proven experience in a similar technical or aerospace role.
  • Strong understanding of design processes and testing methodologies within complex systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to share expertise effectively across teams.
  • Analytical mindset with proactive and methodical working style.
  • Innovative thinker capable of leading change and fostering team cohesion.
  • Fluency in English at a professional level.


Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in military aerospace or similar high-technology domains.
  • Knowledge of safety certification processes and regulatory standards.
  • Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Familiarity with configuration management and technical documentation standards.
