Test and Validation Engineer

iO Associates is looking for a Test and Validation Engineer to work with a British technology firm is dedicated to safeguarding lives through the creation of innovative home safety solutions that are both user-friendly and widely accessible. The purpose of this position is to verify the design of components and products in accordance with the engineering V-model. The validation team is focused on ensuring that products are prepared for certification.

Test and Validation Engineer

Coventry (Permanent)

Up to £40,000 per annum Plus Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting validation procedures for new products according to specified criteria.
• Assisting in the validation of current designs to align with production and certification standards.
• Producing failure reports and collaborating with other engineering disciplines to assess and address failures.

Education/Qualifications:

• At least 5 years' experience in a test or electronics engineering field.
• Ability to read schematics and understand and diagnose failed electronic assemblies.
• Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.
