Role Summary

This key position has been created to support the company's expanding portfolio of testing systems and automation processes. As part of their strategic growth, the role offers a unique opportunity to influence testing methodologies and enhance product quality. It promises to be a highly impactful role, playing a vital part in advancing testing capabilities and operational efficiency on cutting-edge projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test programmes on automated systems for both prototype and production devices.
  • Enhance existing series products by streamlining testing processes to reduce lead times and improve first-pass yields.
  • Specify, source, and implement test adaptations with a strong focus on Design for Automation (DfA).
  • Advance existing test sequences within the current framework.
  • Optimise hardware and software components of test systems.
  • Contribute to investment planning, particularly regarding component discontinuations.
  • Create detailed technical documentation, user manuals, and conduct user training sessions.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • A completed technical university degree in electrical engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in measurement technology, test design, and test implementation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as TestStand and LabVIEW.
  • Solid electronics knowledge.
  • Familiarity with software development and system design.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, reliably, and in a process-driven manner.
  • Strong team communication skills, with fluency in both spoken and written English and German.


Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Additional experience in hardware development or automation projects.
  • Knowledge of industrial standards and simulation tools.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or development environment.
