A leading UK-based technology company is seeking a skilled Test Support Engineer to join their engineering team on a permanent basis. This job is for a Test Support Engineer focused on fault-finding, manual testing, and repair of custom test kits for semiconductor components. The role is senior, requires a British passport, and demands substantial electrical/electronic skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose faults and conduct manual testing on custom in-house test kits for semiconductor components (diodes, transistors, voltage regulators).
Troubleshoot and repair down to the component level using circuit diagrams.
Carry out fine soldering work when necessary.
Document test processes and results meticulously to ensure traceability.
Work collaboratively with engineering colleagues to improve test reliability and efficiency.

Essential Requirements:

Must be a British passport holder (required for site access/compliance).
Strong Electrical/Electronic Engineering qualification.
Experience working with semiconductor components and interpreting circuit diagrams.
Proficiency in hands-on soldering for repair work.
Solid understanding of documentation within technical testing roles.
