iO Associates is looking for ambitious and commercially minded individuals to join our Commercial IT recruitment team in Bristol as a Recruitment Consultants.

You’ll build a career at the intersection of sales, technology and recruitment, developing relationships with businesses and technology professionals while becoming a specialist within your market.

Whether you’re a recent graduate or have experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, estate agency, sport or another target-driven environment, this is an opportunity to turn your commercial skills into a long-term career.

No recruitment experience is required. Our award-winning six-month training programme will give you the skills, knowledge and support to develop into a successful recruitment consultant, with clear progression and uncapped earning potential.

What You’ll Be Doing

Recruitment is a people-focused sales career. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you’ll learn how to manage the recruitment process while developing your own client base and specialist market.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing new business and identifying commercial opportunities
• Making outbound sales calls and booking meetings
• Building relationships with technology businesses and hiring managers
• Negotiating commercial terms and recruitment agreements
• Sourcing technology professionals through LinkedIn, job boards and networking
• Speaking with and qualifying candidates
• Managing the recruitment process through to placement
• Developing specialist knowledge of the technology market
• Building your professional network and personal brand
• Working towards individual and team sales targets
