This role is conveniently based near to two of the UK's most regarded cities, Manchester and Liverpool, and only a short drive away from the Peak District for those of you with a love for the outdoors.

A Senior Mechanical Engineer is required to lead projects in structural/steel work designs, supporting the mechanical team leader in the effective running of the department by helping to mentor and train other mechanical team members.

This role will be focusing on the whole project lifecycle and the complete design process: structural steelwork CAD design, pipework stress analysis, design calculations, producing documentation and carrying out reviews.

The ideal candidate will have worked on numerous construction projects, specifically within water and pharmaceutical industries where you will have been working to industry design standards.

The company are offering the successful candidate a salary of up to £50,000 Per Annum, 25 days holiday, 5% contributory pension and flexible working.
