Role: Software Systems Engineer

Salary: £45-55K

Location: Oxford - currently remote working.

A market leader in Medical Software development are looking to expand their team for Greenfield projects. As their Software Systems Engineer, you would be working within the Software Team to design innovative medical software technologies. This will be achived by developing leading C# software to ensure the production of high-quality and high-performing products.

In addition to strong software development skills, this role requires a working knowledge of talking to third party systems. You will need experience of both Software and System Engineering.

Due to the current circumstances surrounding Covid-19, the role will be based remotely but is ultimatelty based in Oxford and you must be within a commutable distance to the site.

Duties of the role:

As part of the Software team you will be helping with the design and implementation of key software features for the project/tool.
To produce high quality software which will communicate with the systems and the User Interfaces - allowing for report data to be sent back to the User.
Develop tools and algorithms to both control and analyse the data produced by the RPM tools.
Work and communicate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

Qualified to degree level or above in a Software or related engineering discipline.
Strong and demonstrable experience of hands-on Software engineering development.
C# coding experience on a Windows PC Platform.
User Interface development. (WPF preferred)
Competent of writing software in a System Environment.
Excellent communicator - Fluency in written and oral technical English.
