Cloud Engineer

Cheltenham (1/2 days a week in the office)

Permanent

£60,000 plus private pension, medical, Dental, and much more!

iO Associates are working with a leading healthcare company who are on the lookout for 2 Cloud Engineers to join their well-established IT department

The organisation is going through extensive growth and are expanding daily with over 200 locations in the UK and now looking to grow further outside of the UK, as well as looking to exploit emerging digital technologies to innovate and disrupt the industry

They have recently defined an ambitious digital transformation roadmap, which aims to future-proof their Support Office through investment in new systems, simplifying core support office processes, and embedding digital ways of working. The aim is to drive greater efficiency as they continue to scale; improve the service that they offer to patients and practices; and, to deliver an improved experience for internal staff

You will ideally have experience supporting complex cloud environments and are eager to gain experience supporting daily operations and migrations to various cloud partners. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions in the cloud and the delivery of SaaS services (CRM, ERP, etc.)

You will be instrumental in the continued growth of one the best and most innovative companies in the UK.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

Technical Skills:

  • Technical understanding Azure Active Directory and on-premises Active Directory. Identity concepts and security (AAD (Azure Active Directory), MFA (Multi Factor Authentication), modern application protection and presentation)
  • Experience of delivering SaaS platforms (Workday, 365 Dynamics, etc.)
  • A strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 platform its core technology components
  • Experience of PowerShell and scripting, especially with regard Azure AD and Exchange Online
  • Deliver technical design recommendations and establish patterns for implementing new solutions
  • Create documentation, standards, and policies and ensure the environment is following established guidelines
  • Identify, evaluate, recommend, and implement opportunities for automation
  • Analyse the cloud environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
  • Windows client, deployment, policing, updating and application packaging
