Electrical Systems Engineer

My client; a well-known and respected aircraft company based in Switzerland are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join their team.

Primarly responsible for the Electrical Power System (EPS), you will be the subject matter expert in this area. Some key responsibilities will include:

• Design of the EPS
• Selection and continued support for the electrical system suppliers
• Perform Electrical Systems Testing (lab and ground)
• Function Requirements and architecture of the aircraft power system
• Supplier support meetings on technical topics (SRR, PDR, CDR etc.)
• Interaction with other teams such as human interface, safety, company CVE and other aircraft teams.
• Creation of Electrical System compiance data
• Test reporting, problem investigation and implementation of required solutions.

Therefore, I am ideally seeking candidates that can demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Experience of aerospace electrical engineering
• Experience of Electrical System development and integration on either fixed/rotary wing aircraft
• Familiar with certification processes and requirements (EASA and/or FAA)
• Knowledve of DO160
• Understanding of hardware and Software systems (DO254 and DO178 resectively)
