2x Cloud Support Engineers

Permanent | £55,000 – £65,000 | Herefordshire (Hybrid, up to 3 days per week)

Minimum SC clearance required | DV clearance preferred

We are seeking two Cloud Support Engineer to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support across secure, defence-focused cloud environments. This role focuses on maintaining platform stability, administering Azure Landing Zones, and supporting enterprise collaboration and CI/CD platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support, including incident triage and resolution
• Administer Microsoft Azure Landing Zone environments (RBAC, subscriptions, policies, resources)
• Support core networking components including VNets, NSGs, and routing
• Respond to monitoring alerts, investigate issues, and escalate where required
• Act as an internal application champion for collaboration and CI/CD platforms
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and support procedures

Skills & Experience

• Experience in Level 1 / Level 2 technical support within a customer-facing environment
• Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Azure administration
• Understanding of cloud networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, routing, firewalls)
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep
• Basic scripting or automation using PowerShell, Bash, or tools like Ansible
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Any of the following certifications would be a bonus: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900), ITIL Foundation Certification
