Contract AI Engineer – Copilot | Azure AI

6-12 months – Outside

We are seeking highly specialised LLM and Enterprise AI Engineers to support the design, build, and production deployment of next-generation AI solutions within a complex, enterprise-scale environment.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on delivering production-ready generative AI capabilities, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure AI ecosystems and scalable LLM architectures.

Key Requirements

We are particularly interested in engineers with proven, production-grade experience across:

• Azure AI Foundry (agentic workflows, RAG systems, orchestration, deployment pipelines)
• Microsoft Copilot Studio (enterprise copilots, agents, integrations with M365 / Power Platform)
• End-to-end LLM application delivery in production environments
• API integration, secure deployment patterns, and enterprise data connectivity
• Experience building and scaling RAG-based architectures and agentic systems
• Strong understanding of MLOps / LLMOps principles in cloud-native environments

Overview of Role

• Design and deploy enterprise-grade AI agents and copilots embedded into business workflows
• Build scalable LLM solutions leveraging Azure-native tooling and services
• Integrate AI systems into existing enterprise data platforms and business applications
• Optimise performance, reliability, governance, and observability of deployed AI systems
• Collaborate with architecture, data, and security teams to ensure production readiness
