Aladdin Services Analyst – Vice President

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading global financial services organisation at the forefront of investment technology. This role offers the chance to work on one of the industry’s most widely used investment management platforms, partnering with investment, operations and technology teams to deliver innovative solutions that support global clients.

We’re looking for an experienced Aladdin Services Analyst (Vice President) with a strong background in BlackRock Aladdin, investment operations and business analysis to help drive platform optimisation, operational excellence and client service across front, middle and back office functions.

The Opportunity

Working closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Risk, Operations and Technology teams, you’ll play a key role in supporting, enhancing and optimising the Aladdin platform while helping to improve investment workflows and deliver an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day servicing and operation of the BlackRock Aladdin platform
• Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional solutions
• Support Aladdin implementations, onboarding, configuration, testing and platform enhancements
• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolutions across multiple teams
• Monitor investment operations workflows, reconciliations, data quality and exception management
• Drive continuous improvement across platform functionality, reporting and operational processes
• Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades and change initiatives
• Produce management reporting, KPI dashboards and client communications
• Deliver user training and provide guidance on Aladdin functionality and best practices
• Collaborate with Technology, Data and Vendor teams on integrations, interfaces and data feeds
• Ensure all activities are completed in line with governance, risk and compliance standards

About You

You’ll bring:

• Experience within Asset Management, Investment Operations or Financial Technology
• Strong knowledge of BlackRock Aladdin (or a comparable investment management platform)
• A solid understanding of the end-to-end investment lifecycle, including:
  • Order Management
  • Trade Capture
  • Portfolio Compliance
  • Settlements
  • Reconciliations
  • Performance & Risk Reporting
  • Risk Analytics
• Experience gathering business requirements and supporting technology or process change
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills, with SQL or Python experience considered advantageous
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with exceptional attention to detail

Desirable Experience

Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:

• Institutional Asset Management
• Portfolio Accounting, Performance Measurement or Risk Analytics
• Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives and other financial instruments
• Incident Management or Service Delivery
• System Integrations, Data Mapping and Workflow Automation
• Agile delivery or Change Management methodologies
