Are you a Test, RF, Networking, Communications or Optical Engineer looking for a hands-on role working with high-speed technologies?

iO Associates are aligned with a high-speed optical transceiver manufacturer to find an application & Test Engineer to develop and optimise automated test systems for advanced optical communication products used across aerospace, space, data centres and next-generation networking.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and optimise automated test systems and production test stations.
• Work with LabVIEW, Python, C/C++ and automated measurement equipment.
• Perform testing including eye diagrams, jitter, BER, signal integrity and RF measurements.
• Work with oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analysers and optical test equipment.
• Support product validation, DVT, data analysis and technical reporting.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years’ experience in test, validation, application or related engineering.
• Background in networking, RF, communications, electronics, fibre optics or high-speed systems.
• Experience with measurement technology and automated testing.
• LabVIEW experience is highly desirable.
• Aerospace, radar, data centre or production test experience would be advantageous.
