Azure Consultant

£500 per day Inside IR35 | 6-Month Contract | Hybrid (Manchester 1 Day Per Week)

We’re supporting a large Local Authority in the North of England seeking an experienced Azure Integration & Security Consultant to join a critical cloud security and transformation programme.

This role will focus on securing and optimising a substantial Azure integration estate, helping to design and implement security enhancements across a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and review the existing Azure integration landscape
• Design and implement Azure security improvements and best practices
• Secure Azure API Management (APIM) services and integration components
• Implement and optimise VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints and related networking controls
• Deliver Azure security enhancements across Logic Apps and Function Apps
• Produce implementation roadmaps and technical recommendations
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to internal teams

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps
• Experience developing and supporting Azure Function Apps
• Expertise in Azure API Management (APIM)
• Strong Azure networking knowledge, including VNets, NSGs and Private Endpoints
• Azure security, governance and cloud best practice experience
• Experience working within large-scale Azure environments
• Ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Contract Details

• £500 per day Inside IR35
• Initial 6-month contract
• Hybrid working model
• Manchester office attendance required 1 day per week
• Immediate interview availability
