Building and Construction Project Lead

Hiring: Building & Construction Project Leader | Global Aerospace & Defence Leader | Portsmouth

Are you a proactive Project Manager with strong construction experience looking for your next career move?

I am partnering with a global aerospace and defence leader to support their capital investment projects. In this role, you will lead CAPEX projects from feasibility through to design and final handover.

The Details:

Location: Portsmouth (On-site as needed)
Rate: £40.00/hour (Inside IR35)
Contract: 12-month contract (possible extension)

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead Multi-Functional Project Teams (MFTs) to deliver Building Services and refurbishment projects.
· Manage CAPEX business cases and project delivery plans from preparation to close.
· Audit site works to ensure technical and Health & Safety compliance.

What we are looking for:

· Strong Project Management and construction experience, ideally within the Defence sector or on large sites.
· Proven ability to manage Capital Investment Projects from inception to handover.
· Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., ONC/HNC) and H&S awareness (SMSTS, CCNSG, or NEBOSH advantageous).
· Clearance: UK Nationals only, eligible for BPSS+ Security Clearance (current SC is a plus).
