Up to £45 per hour inside IR35

A Building & Construction UK Buyer is required to join a leading global aerospace and defence organisation, supporting strategic procurement across construction and facilities projects.

This role will focus on managing tenders, negotiating contracts, and developing supplier strategies to support major CAPEX and infrastructure programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities across building & construction projects
• Manage tenders, supplier selection, and contract negotiations
• Develop and implement procurement strategies
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery)
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement processes
• Support cost-saving and demand management initiatives

Skills & Experience

• Proven procurement experience within construction/building services
• Strong contract negotiation and supplier management skills
• Experience with frameworks and tendering processes
• NEC contract knowledge desirable
• CAPEX or infrastructure project experience beneficial
• Strong stakeholder management and commercial awareness
• Experience-based background with CIPS qualification preferred
