2x SC Cleared Business Process Analysts Required (3 Month Contract – IMMEDIATE START)

Urgent hire for two specialist Business Analysts with active, transferable SC clearance to focus on business process optimisation for a key public sector programme. Immediate start required. 3-month contract £400-£450/day (inside IR35). Remote following London onboarding.

Role Focus

Pure business-side BA role: lead process mapping, analysis, and redesign to streamline operations, eliminate inefficiencies, and align processes with strategic objectives in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Map current (“as-is”) business processes; identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and pain points.

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to elicit requirements and co-design future (“to-be”) processes that drive efficiency and compliance.

• Document process models, workflows, swimlanes, and SIPOC diagrams alongside business requirements (BRDs, process narratives).

• Conduct gap analysis between current operations and target states; quantify benefits (time/cost savings, risk reduction).

• Support process owners with training materials, change impact assessments, and adoption roadmaps.

• Collaborate with IT/solution teams to ensure process designs are feasible for technical implementation.

Essential Criteria

• Active SC Clearance (current/transferable).

• 3+ years pure business process analysis in gov/defence/public sector; NOT IT-focused.

• Expert in process modelling and strong documentation discipline.

• Proven workshop facilitation for senior stakeholders; ability to challenge process owners constructively.

• MS Office advanced (Excel for metrics, PowerPoint for process visuals); basic data analysis.
