Business Change Business Analyst – NPPV3 Cleared
IO Associates are partnering with a consultancy supporting a UK Police force on a large-scale, organisation-wide IT and business transformation programme.
We are seeking an experienced NPPV3-cleared Business Change Business Analyst with a strong track record of delivering change within complex, highly secure environments. This role will focus on ensuring successful business adoption of new systems, driving process improvements, and embedding change across operational teams.
Contract Details
- Day Rate: Up to £600 (Inside IR35)
- Location: London (Mostly Remote)
- Duration: Initial 6 months (likely extension)
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders across multiple departments to understand business needs, pain points, and change impacts.
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, process maps, and user journeys.
- Lead business change activities, including impact assessments, readiness planning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support the design and implementation of new processes, operating models, and ways of working aligned to system changes.
- Work closely with technical teams and vendors to ensure solutions are fit for purpose from a business perspective.
- Support UAT and training activities, ensuring end users are prepared for go-live.
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and resistance to change, escalating where appropriate.
- Communicate progress, updates, and business impacts effectively to senior stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Change Business Analyst on large-scale transformation programmes.
- Strong background in business process analysis, change impact assessment, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams, ensuring successful adoption of new solutions.
- Experience working in structured delivery environments (Agile and/or Waterfall).
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with a focus on user engagement and adoption.
- Active NPPV3 security clearance (essential).
- Experience delivering change within policing, public sector, or highly regulated environments.
- Exposure to organisational design, training delivery, or change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
